Worm & Worm Gears are manufactured as a set and each set is inspected for tooth contact and smooth operation with the gears on the exact center distance, and with correct end position of worm and side position of gear. The worm gears are hobbed with multi-start hobs to ensure a high load carrying capacity available as hardened and ground worm drives.
